migrating to canada

hi everyone,
I'm new here, i am from the philippines, i am a dentist by profession and currently taking up nursing. I will be graduating in march next year. My family hopes to leave by july. As a new grad, with no experience in hospital or private except my school training, how hard will it be to find a job preferably connected with my nursing degree in Vancouver? are the hospitals in canada, specifically vancouver, willing to employ fresh grads from other countries? i am planning to write the canadian exam as soon as i can. please enlighten me and thank you in advance!

You should be able to find a job of some type in Vancouver as a new grad, but it will likely be casual and either med-surg, long term care or psych. My advice would be to go to www.hospitalsoup.com and click on Canadian hospitals, then type in Vancouver to get links to hospitals there. The red tape may take a fair bit of time, so I don't know how realistic a July departure is, but good luck
