Hi Gangan. Apparently, all the jobs are in the USA. I have met many nurses from Canada who move to the USA because they need a job. Good luck!

Lots of jobs in Canada, depends on where you are looking and your experience. Several good job sites including medhunters.com

hello paddi

i get my registered nurse licence on aug.,2004. and started to apply for nursing jobs at the end of aug.2004, attended the job fair contacted numerous agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, follwed them up and only hearing up from them is job pace presently is going slow, maybe we will call you the next month, hospital says we have few selected positions for the inner staff first(their empolies ) if not filled then will ....,three of my friends who are immigrant like me are facing the same problem, even though one of them did M.Sc.Nursing( backhome )and posses good experience. well i cannot say all this happens with others or only with us? thats why i put in the folder to confirm because i only heard this answers.......

i did B.Sc.Nursing, get myself registered here, posesses two years of experience, been a scholared student, did B.C.L.S. certification course here what else they whant? i am depreesed over this, as not able to start up my currier here.
well you posses 14 - 15 yrs experience form USA, you will deffinately nail the job, the things here are not so worse, i think is my job problem face, please advise me......

Have you considered working in another specialty? I know Sick Kids and Mount Sinai were always hiring nurses.

Where did you train? Are you willing to take casual shifts? Casual gets your foot in the door and your face known around the facility.
