job for IEN RPN in Ontario

Hi
I was educated outside Canada. I submitted my documents to CNO for evaluation as RPN. So I have a question about job opportunities for IEN (RPN) in Ontario. Is it real for IEN (RPN) to find a job in Ontario. Maybe somebody tried to do this? I will be very grateful for any information on this topic! It's very important for me! Thanks.

If you are registered then, you can always find a job anywhere as a nurse. I studied in the US and didn't find it difficult to get a job. You probably will get part time or casual position first, because it's very difficult to get a full time job except you are very lucky. I worked as casual for about 5 months before finally got a full time position with Alberta Health Services. I can't tell you about Ontario because i live in Calgary Alberta. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi
I forgot to say that I'm not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. So I need to find employer who is willing to apply for LMO and get work permit for me. Is it possible at all?
thanks.

To get an employer will be very difficult in my opinion since there are so many nurses out there looking for full time position. I am from the US and couldn't find any employer to sponsor me. What i would suggest is for you to apply as a skilled worker if you are LPN/RPN , because is what i did and took me approx. 1 year for the process to go through, but this all depends from where you're coming. You can learn about federal skilled worker program through www.cic.gc.ca click on to immigrate on your left side, then select skilled worker and read how to become one. It might take a while, but i think for now is the only way, I might be wrong, it's just my opinion. If you still want to find out if an employer can hire you, you need to be registered first then you can start to do the search. Below are some websites to find employers. www.jobbank.gc.ca, www.workopolis.ca , www.monters.ca , or you can just google and search. Hope this helps and good luck.
