    I am interested to finding casual positions but I noticed that no hospitals post up casual positions on their website. How should I go about finding openings? Thanks any advice/tips would be appreciated!

    You'll have better luck with applying to Nursing agencies. They usually hire casual and they send their nurses to work in hospitals, and ltcs.

    Toronto hospitals also hire casual staff, have you contacted the manager for the unit you did your consolidation on and asked if they are looking for casual staff?

    check the Toronto LTC website. Send your resume even if you don't see a posting. Thats what i did every 2 weeks since December.. Toronto HR let me chose the nearest LTC facility they have from my house(Cummer Lodge) and set an interview a couple of weeks ago. they told me 5 minutes after the interview that i'm hired as casual. . I know thats weird but i'm not gonna complain. Good luck.
