Right now, my advise is to focus on your studies to get your BSN degree, pass your local license board exam, and if possible, get some nursing experience before coming to another country to work. That's what you need to do.
Unless, you have application to become immigrant in Canada, it's going to be a long way to go for you, I'm sorry to say.

First, you cannot just go to Canada right away and expect to practice. There is a requirement of a visa to start with, and one that permits you to work. And that is not an automatic thing by any means.

The licensing exam is only given three times per year. Suggest that you check the threads at the top of the Canadian Forum for the link to their equivalent of a Board of Nursing and see what you will need to do.

Please be aware that you cannot start the licensing procedures until you have actually graduated from school and can provide the necessary transcripts to meet the province requirements for licensure. This is the same for any foreign country, do not expect to be able to get a license as an RN and be able to begin work right away in another country.

To add to what suzanne4 has said, every province in Canada requires you to be registered in the jursidiction where you were trained before applying for registration here. So you would first have to write and pass your nursing licensure exams in the Philippines and take out registration there before you can even apply to the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia for an assessment of your education.

There is nothing to be sorry about, this is just how things are. And a visa is required for you to go to Canada as a tourist, and a different type to be able to work there.

We just want to make sure that you are aware of all of this so that you do not get into trouble. Most other countries actually require that you have a local license before they will let you get a license in the new country.
