Full time RN-->BSN Programs in the Toronto area

I am a Canadian Permanant resident currently in the US because of my husbands work. Since I cant work here I am about to start an Associates degree program in Nursing and then sit for the RN exam.
We may need to move to Canada once I finish my degree and become a US RN. I am well aware that Ontario requires a 4 yrs bachelors degree to practice as an RN.
Do you know if they have RN --> BSN programs in Ontario, Canada, ie if I have an ADN RN from the US do you think I could just take a year or two of coursework and get a BSN in Canada or would I have to start from scratch ?
Please let me know if you have any info on RN -->BSN Full time or part time programs in Toronto.

They definitely have RN-BSN programs in Ontario, it just depends on where in Ontario you plan to live in. FYI, before this year, the College of Nurses of Ontario(the licensing body for nurses in Ontario) recognized nursing diplomas and nursing degrees. Now they only recognize degrees from nurses entering the profession as of this year. The good thing about doing a RN-BSN program in Ontario is that most of the schools require an Ontario RN license and a certain GPA for admission. You might want to contact the College of Nurses of Ontario (www.cno.org) to see if you'd be able to write their licensure exam with an ADN. Also, you might want to do a search for RN-BSN programs and call those schools for more info on their RN-BSN programs.

We would move to the Greater Toronto Area so I would look for RN--> BSN programs in Toronto.
I would complete my BSN in the US also but we need to return back to Canada by a certain date or risk loosing our Permanant Recidency in Canada. The Canadian PR rules require that we reside in Canada for at least 2 yrs in a 5 year period to still keep it.
My other question is will my 2 yr Diploma and US RN be considered at least equivalent to a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario (since they require a 2 yr diploma now also). Are there any RPN ---> RN programs ?
What is the starting salary for a fresh out of school RN or RPN in GTA.
