Entreprenuerial Options in Canada for Nurses

by USFguy

What type of opportunities for self-employment and nurse-run businesses are there in Canada? In the U.S., an RN can run there own assisted care facility, set up independent nurse practicioner clinics, own and run registries and medical supply companies, provide legal consultation for medical malpractice suits, etc. Are there any nurse entreprenuers in Canada, and if so, how is it different from the US in terms of your healthcare system verus the American?

I would appreciate any feedback.
