Does NS have a new grad initiative program?

Nova Scotia doesn't have a "new grad initiative" in the same way that Ontario does, as in providing a guaranteed employment situation to new grads for 7 months and then letting the chips fall where they may. Pictou County Health Authority has a programme they call the New Graduate Promise Programme that has only just gotten off the ground. They have provided placement for 4 new graduates from Pictou County nursing ed programmes that ensures a full year of support for the transition. http://www.pcha.nshealth.ca/pictouco...Feb6_2009.html Cape Breton Health Authority has a similar programme, for graduates of local nursing ed programmes. But there is no province-wide initiative.
