Did you change careers?

Hi
Did you change careers to be a nurse? How hard was it for you to make that decision? Did you have doubts?
I am changing careers after 18 yrs to be a RPN at 45 yrs. of age. I am very nervous, and extremely excited. I will be attending Georgian College in Ontario, full time. Yeah

I would love to hear some of the factors that went into your decisions.
