Are you an Indian nurse now working in Canada?
I just guessed it with the name. Congratulations on passing the exam.I am an indian nurse, will be coming to Calgary soon.Just wanted to know whether indian nurses are clearing CRNE in first attempts. What is the preparation that we need to do. I was told by my employer to do an online CRNE course, is this helpful. I also have the CRNE prepguide4thedition and a CD.If you could suggest anything it will be helpful.Thanks.

hi nisha!!
I'm also on the process of coming to canada, well i've been made eligible to take up CRNE ,You must have reached canada by now,can u please tell me how did you manage to get the work permit before coming to canada,as my agency has promised me to take me on a tourist visa, they also told me that i dont need to apply for temporary registration since ,my employer would offer me a job while am waiting for my results....i read few comments on this forum that it is not so wise to travel on aturist visa and that we'll be working as an auxillary nurse with very little pay...i'm really confused now.please help.

You do not need a agency to assist you. Now you have eligibility have they given you permission to apply for a temp license? If they have just contact hospitals in the area you want to live in regarding job and LMO. Once you have LMO you need to complete forms on CIC website for temp work permit and submit to your local Canadian embassy along with fees an wait. You will need to have a medical before you can come over and work
