i have mosby comprehensive, lipincott, cna and compedium
i am dng mosby now
is that enough i dnt know am scared
Thank you for the insight Sonamona. I haven't started to review paediatrics in deep yet. I have no idea if Mosby will be enough for content, sometimes I find that a few important things are missing. Maybe I'm wrong.
I also have the Silvestri review for NCLEX, which I use mostly as "school notes". It's a "solid book" in all senses, but it has a few limitations since CRNE and NCLEX are different exams, a few drugs have different names in the US and they don't use the metric system. I wouldn't recommend getting the Silvesri book if you're preparing just for CRNE though.
Good luck and keep posting.

Hi Anna,

Yes, I am. I arrived here in Cranbrook on 9th June, then had my regional orientation a week later with a jet lag (oh man, that's terrible!!) then after that, had my orientation in the floor with ONLY 9 shifts and started to work on my own... Quiet overwhelming at first but its getting smooth as time goes by.. the staff here are very AWESOME, very friendly and helpful.. so basically, i'm not drowning because i have a lot of life-savers around me when difficult situation arises..

Thanks Sheng31 - just found out where I'm writing in Toronto - convention centre near international airport so nice and easy in terms of travel. Took a while to get confirmation from Canada.

Since you are pleased that the writing centre is located close to the airport. It seems you plan to fly in and write the exam within a period of a few days time, is this correct? I hope you factor in enough time to recover from jet lag and will feel well rested when you write the exam.

Of course - and also in case the plane gets cancelled/delayed!

Did anyone see that programme where new research was done with racing drivers who raced in the US and UK. Much less jetlag if they didn't eat on the plane (only H2O) and try to get into the meal/sleep pattern of the country when you get there. They tested reflexes etc before & after & proved it significantly lessened the impact of jetlag. I'll try that as the plane food isn't up to much anyway.
