Hey petgroomer, I don't know why they extended the deadline. I have been waiting for a decision for 10 long months now because of insufficient documents. I'm so happy they extended it 'cos if not, that means I have to wait even longer.
More power to you Sheng31, sometimes it's not necessary to know why things happened but to take advantage that they did happen Good luck and happy studying to all of us test takers

I have a huge problem accessing the RNA's version of the prep guide......yes I can purchase it online from their bookstore....but the charge $240 to ship it to England where i live at present, and i just can't afford that much!!!!

anyone got any Ideas of how i can access it another way????

I've tried to get a copy on ebay....but nothing out there!!!!!!!

I'm working my way nicely through the Lippincott's and doing well with the questions....but i need further reinforcement i think!!!!!

Try amazon. I'm not sure how much they charge for shipping. A British ex colleague gave me her CRNE prep Guide Book last February after she sat the exam here in Toronto. So I am very lucky.

Hi, if you try the Amazon website just make sure that you're getting the updated version. I had a look right now and they have the 2000 one as first option (?) all of the other books are updated but I didn't see the new version of the CNA guide there.

Hey petgroomer. Since I have completed reading the CRNE prep guide 4th edition, is there no point in getting the older version? I want to try and practice more test to get used to answering questions. Also, I've decided to get the Mosby's. Which one is better, Mosby's Comprehensive Review or the Mosby's Prep Guide? Any suggestions?

Hi Sheng, just coming back from Lippincott, lol. Sure I see little point in getting the 2000 CNA guide. I'll buy it from the local hospital library, they have the updated version.
I have the Mosby Comprehensive Review, but probably the Guide would be better. I bought the review because I gave away my school notes and needed some "nursing knowledge brush up".
I don't know if other members are finding the Lippincott questions a bit too easy; I can't wait to get my hands on the CNA book. Not that I mind having encouraging results when studying, but having a false sense of being prepared could be very dangerous. Any feedback from other nurses using Lippinc. would be appreciated. Thanks.

Read the approximately 2 dozen responses to similar requests on this forum. In fact, there are several responses before your post and at least two after it.
