Comparing BC and Alberta

They both take about the same amount of time to assess applications. Expect anywhere from 4 to 6 months minimum. BC wants 250 hours of supervised work experience in a Canadian hospital before granting registration. They both want a lot of money. And you have to be registered in the Philippines. You've already missed the deadline for applying to write the October CRNE, but you have to be given permission fromt he province to apply anyway and have to have your assessment done first. I think you're looking at February at the earliest in either province.

Most of BC has better weather than Alberta...

thanks. i jst want to get an idea of the time frame because i am considering getting a job while waiting for it . i am a new RN, so i have no experience yet. do you think i should pass my application now to CRNBC? will they accept that? or should i get some work experience first before sending my application to CRNBC?
