Canadian Registered Nurse Exam Any second hand guides out there?

That doesn't come as a big shock to me somehow. I sent a boxed set of DVDs from Edmonton to my daughter in Montreal for her birthday and they charged me $23.

Have you looked on amazon.ca for a used copy? They sometimes have that sort of thing and their prices are good. Shipping is much cheaper through them than it is for individuals.

I passed my exam and I still have the book. I dont mind passing it down.

YOu can get Mosby from Amazon.ca - they charge normal postage rates & even their expedited rate is only some $23 odd!

I had that same problem with the CNA - I emailed them to alert them but haven't had a reply. You can get the book sent from other Canadian booksellers will mail it via the 6-8 weeks land mail for around $18 - I've lost the link I had but will post it when I find it.

I decided to use Mosby here & wait until I'm in Canada (as I don't have to do CRNE first as I'm going to work as an grad nurse initially) to purchase the CNA book!

I was given the link by a nurse friend in Canada, it's a reputable store & I'm sure it will be okay. Also if you're paying by Visa or other credit card you're protected by your card anyhow. I didn't order it because I already got Mosby after seeing the stupid shipping price from the CNA.

I don't like the Mosby book much though & will get this one from this site once I'm through with Mosby.

I've bought loads of stuff internationally & so far, touch wood, have never had a problem. As long as it's a well known store in the country I'm happy to take my chance.
