Canadian Nursing Agencies in New Brunswick

Hi,

I have already been assessed by Nurses Association of New Brunswick, now what i am looking is an employer, is there any Nursing agencies in New Brunswick Canada that hires foreign nurses.

The NANB gave me a list of Hospitals, such as The Moncton, River Valley Health, Hospital in Saint John and Miramichi, but i do not have any reply from those institutions yet. Any one who could help me?

Thanks

Moved to the Canadian forum

Have you tried contact the hospitals a couple weeks or so after sending your resume?

Where abouts in NB are you looking to live?

Getting hired is a slow process. Expect it to stretch out for at least a month from application, to interview, credentials/reference check, next orientation scheduled for the hospital.

To move units it took me 8 weeks, application to start date. New hires are often even slower.

Did you apply for a position number? Was the competition "open to the public"?

All of this factors into the hiring schedule.

What do you mean "nursing agencies". Hospitals/health regions do direct hire.

I am not sure what kind of agency you are looking for, but there are homecare and private duty nursing agencies listed in superpages.ca Maybe you can try contacting these businesses and see if they hire foreign nurses.

try this website. www.careerbeacon.com. Try applying on the HR there. They have many job postings there. I've tried sending my CV to one of the job postings before, they replied that I need to be eligible for them to help me regarding employment process

Another website to search for jobs is indeed.ca, on this site you can register, list your preferred job type and location (in your case registered nurse and new brunswick) and you will recieve an e-mail to notify you when jobs become available.
