It is ANZAC day here - where we remember those who have fallen in war. By accident though I came across this, and since it is Australian I did not think most of you would have seen it.

Thank you so much for that link! A couple of weeks ago we "celebrated" the victory at Vimy Ridge, the defining battle of WWI for the Canadian military and what many say was the birth of the Canadian military as we now know it. It's interesting to "see" history through the eyes of someone I can identify with somewhat.
