background in acupuncture and chinese medicine usefull?

I'm wondering if my education (5 years) and experience in acupuncture and TCM will come in handy in any particular area of nursing?

thanks for any suggestions!

Not really, at least as far as I've seen. I am planning on either going into pain management or FNP so hopefully I will be able to integrate then.

I have gotten annoyed at times with some of my instructors when they make generalizations or blanket statements about acupuncture without really having any background or understanding about the depth of acupuncture research. [/rant]
