Any Canadian nurses work in the UK?

Hi there,

I am wondering how difficult it would be to work in the UK? I am a third year nursing student who will be graduating next year and would like to work in the UK. There seems to be troubles with their nhs right now however and Im hearing that it is very difficult to find work over there now. Its very discouraging to me as I would love to work over there as a nurse.

If someone could give me any information about their experience working there and how long of a process it took for them, as well, did you need prior experience before going over there? I was told that with the amount of clinical experience Ive had I would not need job experience before starting their overseas nurses program.
