Accelerated Nursing U of Calgary


Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has been accepted into this program for September 2007 yet? If so, when were you accepted and what was your GPA?. I applied in November and still have not heard anything so I am just wonderng if anyone else has heard back yet.

Good luck to both of you! I loved my time at U of C. As with everything, it had it's ups and downs, but for the most part I'm happy with my education. More than anything, the friendships that were made were strong and will last a lifetime

How difficult is it to attain a high GPA in nursing. From what I have heard, it is fairly easy to pass, but exorbitantly difficult to earn marks worthy of a Dean's list designation. Is this true? I am considering the BNAT program but I want to earn competitive grades that I can use later to pursue other studies such as in Law or Medicine, if I so desire. Any thoughts?

If you go to this page on the UofC website and click on any class, it will have a run-down of their marking system. A+ = 98% and up, A = 93-97.9 93-http://www.ucalgary.ca/nu/node/278
