Hi Everyone
This is my first time posting. Recently, I've been thinking about becoming an LPN or RN. I am not sure what to do

I'm 30 and just had my 3rd little boy(2mths old) I have been a housewife for 7 yrs, so I'm very nervous about going back to school. I thing I am worried about is the grossness of the whole thing. I have been looking through the boards and I understand this is pretty normal. I feel like I can handle it if I work in L&D, because it's what I really want to do, but it's seeing everything before I get there LOL.
Anyways... I REALLY want to work in L&D. It's hard to explain but I just have this passion for it. I think it is so amazing. I have couple ?'s and I would soooo appreciate it if anyone would answer any of them.
What do RN's do/learn that LPN's do not? especially in L&D?
If I take the LPN route I can start right away through distance education, and they give you 2 yrs to complete that. This might be the best thing for me as I don't want to put my kids in daycare when they are so young.
OR
since I need to upgrade my English and take chemistry before nursing school I could start on that. After that, I could also lessen my 1st yrs course load by taking some other nursing courses at night. This would probably take a couple years just to do all this.
What would you do????
Thank You for taking the time to read this
