Anybody in either the UBC or the UofT nursing program? I am torn between the two and I can't decide which school I want to go to. From my knowledge, UBC provides ~15 weeks of clinical experience and UofT provides a 10-week clinical course only.
Could anybody provide more details and insights to the actual program at the school?

I say compare the number of hours. It could be that UBC's is stretched out but doesn't have more hours, I'm just guessing. In any case, I've heard (there's the annoying word) from a prof that teaches pre-nursing courses in BC that the hospitals like the college degree students because they have more practical on-the-floor work experience, so I'd say go for the one with more clinical hours if you find that you rely on practical experience to build confidence in the field.
I've been doing interviews for summer p/t jobs (just mall jobs) and I figure that your confidence with practical work skills is really important when you're trying to convince your employer to choose you over the other applicants.
