Hey everybody. This website has been a lot of help throughout the past 3 years, so I'm here to try and help people out in return. I just finished my bridging portion at Centennial College (full-time) and I'm more than glad to answer some questions. Go crazy.

I got a question for you, i have failed a class in centennial and they told me I cant get in. Ive been hearing rumours that there are some who get in with this, did you hear about this, or any places they went for school to bridge. Also do you know what a guy in my situation can do, who will most likey graduate with a 3.0 gpa total can get into. Thanks!

Hii I Have a couple questions :)

1. What was your average getting in? I just finished my second semester RPN at George brown with a 3.7, hoping to get in next year.

2. Did you find the bridging program harder, easier, or around the same as the RPN program?

Thank you!

Would you happen to know anything about the Flex bridging program? Can I go full time once I get into Ryerson?

Hey Lisa,

1. I got in with a 3.7 from George Brown as well. One of my friends got in the same semester with a 3.2 so you're more than set :)

2. I found it very similar to the RPN program. Many of the courses were basically the same (patho, ethics, health assessment) with increased depth on the different topics. The only course that was completely new was nursing research and even that wasn't that hard. Overall same difficulty with a lot of work.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Sorry I am not familiar regarding admissions. Everyone I knew either went to George Brown or Centennial for bridging.

Hey nemrac93,

From what I understood, you are not allowed to switch once you enter Ryerson. You have to continue doing what you started and thus why I chose to go full-time.

Hi there!

I got into the rpn to rn flex program.

My question is, are you guaranteed a spot at ryerson if you graduate from the bridging program with 3.0 or higher gpa?

Thank you :)

You can switch from full-time to part-time but not from full-time to part-time at Ryerson

Yes as long as you achieve 3.0 and above cumulative GPA with no failed or repeated courses you are guaranteed a spot at Ryerson. They do not round off so if a student gets a 2.99 they will not get admitted at Ryerson.
