Anyone started to prepare for CRNE June 2012?

@allicandoispray ---i know, the options were really tricky. there are always two answers which are correct, you just have to choose the best one. i just used test taking strategy, since the question gave cue and specifically asked for "independent" nursing action and intervention for edema. and if it seems that there's no correct answer from the option, just go for the closest answer and the best option that can somehow suffice what the question is asking. lol. :D

@kheemooy- You already!!! haahaha...

can you teach us more about your test taking strategy? It sounds interesting... would you mind to share???

it's not contraindicated, but it does increase venous return to the heart as you say - which may increase perfusion to the kidneys and allow better diuresis. since peripheral edema is associated with right-sided heart failure, it would be expected in mr del ray. the dyspnea and pulmonary edema that accompanies left-sided heart failure would suggest a contraindication for elevating the legs, but these are not present in right-sided failure. check this out: www.nursing.umich.edu/.../congestive%20heart%20failure.ppt i would say that the university of michigan could be considered a reliable source.

Hi Kheemooy

Hi Olga, I did not go through the crne workshop of care in Hamilton, I was supposed to start yesterday but it was really far from me since I live in brampton and the place was really sketchy and scary. lol. so i ended up going to Nurses Education Inc. in MIssissauga which is close to my house and they're review is really good. My review is Aug. 1-29.

Goodluck to all CRNE takers tomorrow! Godbless us all! :)

Wish u all the best crne takers...

Speed plus comprehension - getting freakin fatigue after the exam.

good luck to all the CRNE writers tomorrow. I have been there and made it and you can too! Be positive and hopefully all of the hard studying has paid off!

I went to my exam center just an hour ago to map everything out. So eveything is set up in that place. Whew!

How's the exam guys? Goodluck and Godbless to all of the CRNE June 2012 takers! You can do it! :)

I feel like I failed. I found it very difficult even though I studied and the CRNE Practice questions were way easier than the actual exam--it sucks, but I am preparing myself for the worst :(
