My friend and I both took a prep course with Toronto School of Nursing, but both of us failed.

I missed by 12 points. Now we don't know what to do. We used 2 review books, practice many questions.
I only have one chance left. Feel very helpless. I applied for rescoring my exam but CNO only mailed me another letter after few weeks showing "Fail". There were no other details. I don't know what went wrong. don't know what to do next.
Preparation course like the Toronto School of Nursing guides you what to do to help you pass but it's you who will take the exam. I am planning to take their course because I failed my second attempt but with your comment, I might look the other preparation course. I got (103/114) but that was my self review, if I had somebody to coach or tutor me probably it would be much better.

If unresponsive it's CAB (Compressions, Airway, Breathing). No more ABC. That's the 2010 BLS!

I think it really important that you study hard. Really research your course.

5 of us from my clinical group of us decided to take a preparation course with the Toronto School of Health, despite all the negative reviews it has on here and we all failed. We decided to take it because the lady who answers the phone ***** told us the instructor was a doctor and an expert in nursing. Let me tell you something, I didn't know the half it!

The problem with the Toronto School of Health firstly is they were charged for operating as an illegal school and were charged by the Ontario Governemnt. If you google them, there is a link from the government with a list of the charges. I think its posted here, but If I find it I will give it to you.

Secondly, the teacher who calls himself Doctor ***, has absolutely no nursing background, but is rather a naturopath!!!!! He knows absolutely NOTHING about nursing practice issues, which is a problem, because the exam is all nursing practice!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost all the questions they review is from an NCLEX book that they use, it's brutal!!!!!

They also want 950.00, which is crazy, because he couldn't even define what palliative care is. Between the 5 of us we spent almost 5000 bucks. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY from the Toronto School of Health! Trust me, you'll regret it.

Heres the link for the Toronto School of Health. Stay away from these guys, they're the biggest scammers in the business. My friends convinced me to go there, despite my intuition. What a scam.

Good luck. Make sure you study hard and prepare. I would suggest you really study hard and practice questions like crazy!!!!!

Do you know if we could take the Toronto School of Health to court to return our money? I got my results yesterday and failed. I am so upset because I am new immigrant and don't have a lot of money.

We should contact govermnt and close them down. I looked if I could take another preparation course and found www.tsofh.com under kijiji because it said it was nursing review centre. ITs the TOronto School of Health under a differnt website!! We need to start a group, because they are opening different websites to trick people. I am need to study everyday, its my second time failing

    Okay thank you.

I was actually going to sign with them before, but for some reason I decided not to

My clinical instructor told me to go the Toronto School of Nursing, as she has been sending students there for quite sometime, with all successful results, so I might give it a go I just don't have the money right now. My friend just went there and passed, which really made me feel depressed. I was also told that http://www.primededucation.ca/ is pretty good, but I think thats more of a quick review

I'll tell you this though, I'm going to do more self study this time, and really focus on the nursing competencies that I didn't do well in. I also bought the Mosbys and CNA guide. Lets see how it goes, I have to just get back into the swing of things
