by winterspice Sep 14, '10Hi AllNurses
. I will be writing the CPNRE on January 2011. My study materials are:
-Mosby’s Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing 2nd Edition and
-The Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide 3rd Edition.
To all test takers for January 2011 (hoping that I am not the only one here), please join and we’ll support each other to stay on track and keep on going. To all other members who passed the exam or knowledgeable about the CPNRE, please give some inputs. Badly needed. Thank you.
A prayer to all of us, “Lord God, our Saviour, we are asking for your guidance for the upcoming CPNRE. Help us to comprehend what we are studying and give us wisdom to pass the exam. Please Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen”.
Will always keep you posted
Print and share with friends and family.
Compliments of allnurses.com.

- Sep 14, '10 by winterspiceAs I reached the first "review questions" at the end of the chapter of the book (mosby's canadian comprehensive review of nursing ), I wonder if these questions are for CRNE only and not for CPNRE? Am I going to skip the review questions of the book or not??? Because for the fact that there are some difference between the role of a Registered Nurse and Registered Practical Nurse. I am worried that the approach in answering the questions or answers to the questions are for the CRNE and not for the CPNRE. Hope to receive some answers. Thanks

- Sep 16, '10 by flight81hello winterspice. i want to join you. we have very same situation here obviously because we will be taking same exam. likewise, i am looking for more practice questions w/ rationales for RPN exam. i also bought mosbys and the canadian pn prep guide. about your question, i've thought about that. for me, i think we better use the mosbys as our reference or the nursing knowledge foundation and use the prep guide in practicing rpn-like questions. so i'll skip the mosby's questions.but it's up to u. i;ve read some forums saying that the exam is difficult. some ppl would say, it's easy. but it's better that we prepare ourselves so we're confident.
- Sep 17, '10 by winterspiceThank you flight81!
We have to keep on working this out to develop nursing muscles. Whether it is easy or not, we're prepared and will pass it! As for the moment, I'll skip that questions too. Please keep posted with your progress.
- Sep 20, '10 by flight81hi. a friend who passed the cpnre told me that she used the mosby's and prep guide as well. she also answered those practice questions on mosby's. so i guess it;s ok to answer those questions on mosby's..what do u think? could someome give us some insights if we could practice the CRNE questions for CPNRE???
