Hi Fiona, yes I did notice that the CPNRE is far easier than the NCLEX :) I've reviewed the prep guide and did the online predictor test...I have a 95 to 100% chance of passing :)
I also landed a regular/permanent part-time job here in Calgary at one of the sub-acute units. I'm very pleased with this position, I got my foot in the door and will be able to pick up extra shifts. I start work this coming week :)

did u pass the exam finally? replay please
hello winterspice. i want to join you. we have very same situation here obviously because we will be taking same exam. likewise, i am looking for more practice questions w/ rationales for RPN exam. i also bought mosbys and the canadian pn prep guide. about your question, i've thought about that. for me, i think we better use the mosbys as our reference or the nursing knowledge foundation and use the prep guide in practicing rpn-like questions. so i'll skip the mosby's questions.but it's up to u. i;ve read some forums saying that the exam is difficult. some ppl would say, it's easy. but it's better that we prepare ourselves so we're confident.

Hi guys! new to allnurses and plan to take the CPNRE on Jan 2012. I know its still a long time but I'd like to prepare well. I've read your posts and they are very helpful! Thanks! G'luck to those taking the exams this september. Is there still a need to enroll in a Prep course or will self studying be enough?
