scabies

Hello fellow camp nurses,
Just a question...What is the protocal at your camp if someone has a confirmed diagnosis of scabies? We had this come up recently and there was some debate on what should be done

The MD said the camper was okay to come back after 2 treatments and one of the other nurses said that she was not allowed to come back at all.

BTW, this was a one week camp and the child had a rough home life (as you can guess )

Should it happen again I want what is best and safest for everyone involved. Prior to this happening we did not have a policy covering the situation

I hope everyone is having a minimally injure-full, drama less summer(esp when it comes to staff! haha!)
