Hi, all!
I've been a camp nurse (RN) for four seasons in New England, but I skipped last summer due to an illness. I was lucky to work at a great camp--plain old, good old summer camp for girls--but the pay was pretty slim. Now that my daughter has aged-out of camp, the campership is no longer an incentive for me.
I've been approached by a much "swankier" camp to do some 24hr per diems this coming season. The commute is manageable.
What would be an appropriate per diem rate to ask for? I'd have sole responsibility for the Health Center and about 150-200 campers, depending on how many groups are out on treks. No doc on site, but a very nearby hospital.
I really appreciate some feedback; I know it won't be a fortune, but I don't want to sell myself short, either. Please PM me if you're not comfortable posting here.
Thanks!
