- Nov 2, '09 by Mammato3I feel ya!! I have applied to the lottery 4 times!! I can't really apply anywhere else because I am not able to commute, so I just have to wait it out. With the lottery system you can get in right away like my friend did or you can wait 4 or 5 times. So yes unfortunately it is normal. Good luck to you

- Jan 1, '10 by NurseCubanitaRN2bThat is the whole reason why I did the LVN first. My friend finished all of her prerequisites before I did and started applying for the Fall 2007 RN program at several schools. I opted the LVN in the Fall 2007, and now I'm going to apply to the 8 month ADN, and she didn't even get into the Fall 2009 program. She will be applying for the Fall 2010 and I hope she gets in. I'm one step ahead of her now and she originally she was one step ahead of me. Good Luck to you all
