. Hahaha. I dont think I've ever been so glued to m phone, email, & snail mail in my life! And add this forum to the list too! I keep waiting for someone to post they've heard from their rep! Ahhhhhhhhh! - Aug 3, '12 by Jezz092195This is beyond torture! Haha. And you know the reps go home and sleep peacefully every night! I've been living off monsters this week! Maybe this is their way of preparing us
. Haha. Stress, lack of sleep, and building a dependance on caffeine! Sounds about right for nurses!

I was told that alternates depending on where you are have a good chance of getting in because of failing background checks or not paying for school and other things like that so its good just to get all the things you can in. Sorry this is a bit late dont' know if you have taken the KTP yet. Math was general basic math, before I took mine I did a refresher on fractions, just like adding them, multiplying them and things like that. Its not that its hard but its that there aren't that many questions, so 1 or 2 missed can effect the score. First time I took it I missed 1 in math and 2 in reading so my reading score was like an 85 or something like that. I retook it to score higher.
Hope it works out for you CupcakeB!

but the last time I talked to my rep, which was a month ago he basically said if you don't get in the 90s and are not accepted for early admission you are NOT going to get into the program. I got a 95 on the reading and 75 on the math, took the NATP at Kaplan a year ago (which they said would help that I graduated from a program there), work at a hospital on a med/surg floor (again, another thing they said would work in my benefit) but he said since I didn't get a 90 or above on my math that basically I wasn't getting in....SO SAD. When I applied he told me that they look at everything and in reality I think all they look at is the KTP score. He also said that all the spots were going to be taken by people who scored in the 90s and were accepted with early admission. Since others are already getting their schedules it seems like they should've already made a decision on who got in. I hate to be Debbie Downer but then again I don't think any of the reps know much. He bragged about how the decision is made so fast and they let everyone know right away and that the latest I would know is July 27th, which obviously was not the case. This is just frustrating to me even though he told me a month ago that my chances were NOT good at all. Haha, I guess I'm still trying to be hopeful.

- Aug 3, '12 by jime86Quote from CupcakeBI have class T/TH 7-1030 and a Friday class. Yes your right yay go us! I'm too excited too. As far as where to I'm applying, I'm a MA and I've applied at a few places but haven't really done it too seriously. Since I only have 2 classes I'm gonna have a bit of free time. I have an interview Monday and Palomar Health for a Perdiem position but I live in IB so that is a pretty far driveI didnt get a group assigned, Maybe because I am a bridge student LVN-RN. - Aug 3, '12 by alilovex3I KNOW!!! Do you work at a hospital muks17? I have a few coworkers who just graduated from Kaplan and passed boards. They said that usually they take people who already have jobs in places that they will get hired as an RN right away because it makes their school look good. One of them even told me she totally bombed the TEAS and they still took her. It looks bleak for me because I think they're saying it to make me feel better haha.

Sorry alilovex3,
I hope you get in. I know waiting sucks, mins seem like HOURS! And day like months. The KTP guide wasn't that hopeful. Did you take it 2x or just once?
