When will be the last day to take the teas?
- Apr 22, '12 by nurseoftheworldThanks for the information! I have been waiting and waiting to hear from GCC! Now, I know...May 10th! I got the TEAS invite, and opened it thinking it was an acceptance/rejection letter since I already sent them my TEAS results. I took the TEAS at COC last month, and have been accepted to their program for Fall.
However, GCC is my first choice, so fingers crossed...

- Apr 24, '12 by willowitaOk, you guys freaked me out so much I just had to call to find out what was happening.

I didn't get a letter but they told me I made the first cut and since I submitted my TEAS scores already I just have to wait to find out if I was chosen or not. Whew. Maybe my letter got delivered to a neighbor or got lost. Good to know I'm still hanging in there! - Apr 24, '12 by justinpark09Haha, sorry if it freaked u out. lol
But it's good to hear that Glendale sent letters already rite?
What program did you apply? Day or Night Program ? -

GCC goes by LOTTERY for qualified ppl, but they also ask if we have any working experience in medical field or volunteer???? !!??? i do not get it AT ALL.
- Apr 25, '12 by nurseoftheworldMe neither! I really think that the whole lottery system is screwy. I also cannot truly believe that they do a total random lottery. There is no way that any school will want people there who will bring down their NCLEX pass rate. So, I like to believe that they make sure that you have some experience and good grades! Anyway, I am hoping to get into the Night/Weekend class. At least, I got into COC. From what I know, COC does 60 % lottery and 40% merit. I think I got in on merit, but whatever which way, I am just happy to have an acceptance SOMEWHERE! COC had about 350 applicants. They selected 60 for the class, and 30 alternates.
