    I need some information regarding Bakersfield JC LVN to RN bridge. I read in the requirements that they ask for 1 year on LVN experience. I finish my LVN program in October 2012 and I am curious to see if that requirement is really enforced? Does anyone know about this?

    Are you from Bakersfield? I believe they do enforce all requirements. They are very hard to get into. Yes, if you have good grades you will probably get in, but the wait list is at least a year. So apply. By that time you will have had all of that experience. Also, the hospitals around here usually hire new grads from that program. Good luck!

    No I am actually from Pasadena, but my boyfriends family lives in Delano, and because it is so difficult to get in down here, we are considering moving up to Delano for awhile, if I were to get accepted. I am trying to increase my chances of getting in Somewhere by applying out here and over in Bakersfield. I will have my LVN complete in October and all my pre-reqs are already completed, so it's just a matter of getting in somewhere! easier said than Done!
