Hi Everyone!

I didn't find any threads for USF's ME-CNL Spring 2013 cohort, Anyone planning on applying?? Anyone currently in the program who can give some advice??

I too am still waiting to hear...It's Thursday night Dec, and it's 6:36 pm.... Tomorrow is Friday!!!! I hope we hear soon. Let's continue to keep each other posted... WE may be fellow cohort mates, and this is a great way for us to get to know each other before we start....

Hi all,

So I called the nursing school, and the receptionist said that they are STILL going through applications because they received more than they anticipated, and said they hope to mail decisions out next week! Pretty frustrating since they've said this exact statement for the past two weeks :/

I asked how many apps they received and she said she doesn't know the number, but that it was just A LOT more than they thought...makes me even more nervous!

If anyone else has talked to any other USF staff about this, please update us :)

Also, I'm a Bay Area native who went to UCLA for undergrad and graduated in 2011 with a Psychobiology major, Global Studies minor. I would love to stay in the Bay Area!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I received my letter of acceptance for the BSN program this evening! So so soo excited! I live about 25 miles south of SF, and the letter states that it was sent out yesterday, which is probably why I received it so quickly. Good luck to you all! :))

cdim - Thanks for the update! I've been checking the mail everyday for the past two weeks. Hopefully, we'll know by the end of next week. I read some of the previous message boards and USF sometimes calls the admitted applicants-- so keep your cell on.

Ashley - Congrats! Have you decided on USF? If so, maybe you'll see some of us on campus next semester. :)

Hi all,

I wanted to provide my update since I have been relying on everyone else's this last week :)

I called the grad office of admissions today and the rep said the department may send out letters this week, but if not, hopefully they will be sent out next week. The grad office of admissions is closed for break Dec 17-Jan 7, so the rep said if we don't receive anything by Jan 7 to call back to be transferred directly to the department.

I applied for the Spring 2013 non-nurse CNL masters program at USF.

Telencephalon- thanks! Yes, I will most definitely be attending USF. It's my dream school! Hope good news is coming your way. I read on another forum that there were around 300 applicants and only 30 were accepted? Anyone else hear about this?Ashley

Hi all,

When does the spring semester start again?!?! I'm starting to feel like we'll be cutting things close if the rep warned freecloud to call if we hadn't received anything by Jan 7.... :(

ah well, i guess there's nothing that can be done. just crossing my fingers we all have some news before then.

The academic calendar says classes start on January 22nd, which is a Tuesday. That is cutting it a bit close-- especially for those who aren't from the Bay Area and need to find living arrangements. I've pretty much put everything temporarily on hold. I tutor micro and physio at a community college and I told the program coordinator that I wasn't sure if I could continue next semester because I'm waiting to hear back from USF. Let's hope we find out this week!

Yeah... I'm supposed to have all my practicum paperwork done by the 4th... Physical and background paperwork done before Xmas... I had to register for classes before 12/6, which I did...so hopefully they get all your acceptance letters out soon... Good Luck everyone...
