Hey guys, I have an interview tomorrow at UCLA for the super user position. Since they can't guarantee there will be a RN New Grad program this time..but does anyone know what exactly are they looking for? I mean im sure most of us have good computer skills..I don't know how to prepare for this interview!!

so I went to my physical and drug test on Tuesday.. and yet I haven't received any updates or further instructions.. anyone else on d same boat??

It seems like this should be quick, but I did it a week an a half ago for another job an they still don't have the information at the HR. ugh. It takes a bit LOL

I am scheduled for my physical and drug testing as well as orientation next week. I was told to complete an online paperwork three days prior to the orientation but I have not received a link for that yet...has anyone been told to do all this yet?
I actually just received that email yesterday and completed all the paperwork online. I confirmed my attendance to orientation, but I still have no idea where it will be held!! lol anyway, can't wait!!
Specializes in Family Nursing & Psychiatry.

Hello future colleagues! I too, have been hired for the Super User position at UCLA Health System! I'm Matthew btw. :) I have set up my physical appointment date. I wanted to ask if we just need to wait for the email to set up an appointment or if there is a link online. Hope to meet all of you soon! :)

they should send you an email with the information and phone number to call and make your appointment! congrats

Hi! I have a interview on Wednesday~ any tips? does anyone know how long the interview will be? I had originally applied for the "New Grad RN super user position" but I got an email back saying that I wasn't eligible for RN new user because I havent completed my nursing degree ( I went through a entry level masters prog and finished the RN portion that is in fact acknowledged by the BRN as BSN prepared but have not finished program - no MSN yet) but HR referred me to a "super user position".

:***:ack confusing huh?

mm Reading the responses on this thread Im getting confused. Is it basically the same position? or is the New Grad RN super users in a separate category? If it is, poo wish I was interviewing for THAT ...:) But, either way Im hoping if all goes well this experience will help me land a RN job.

Any information would be greatly appreciated ! Congrats to everyone!

oh -- did a little bit more research, its def. a different from the RN user position. poo...maybee i can talk with HR during interview? haha either way, hopeful....sigh

I do believe it different, others will not be placed in clinical areas of the hospital..or so I understood, and the best thing I could tell you to prepare if just think of many situations that you had to teach someone something and what you would do if someone asks for your help... pretty much that's d whole point of that interview, to see how well you could teach others. good luck!

With all seriousness...where is the orientation held??

it's in the same location they interviewed us..

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if they are still hiring for this position? I just applied to it today. Looks like they have hired lots of you already. Congrats to all.

Any info on the status of this job would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, I applied on the 7th, and I am interviewing next week.

Hi all, I'm interviewing on Tuesday the 13th. Wondering what the format of the interview was... single interviewer or multiple? Were you the only interviewee or were there multiple? I'm trying to figure out how to best prepare for this one. Without giving away specifics, did they ask questions/focus on nursing, teaching, Epic, computer systems or all of the above? For those of you that have started, how do you like it?

Thanks!

D
