I emailed him and he said he was never waitlisted. He mentioned that #20 on the waitlist got in though!

Thanks Emily! I'm going to email SON this morning and ask for an update.
I called a couple of days ago and asked what to expect (like if I needed to keep emailing three times a day to see if I gained position), and she said that before she gives an official updated list, the people who were accepted have to commit through the graduate division (not just the SoN through email). She said that she didn't know how long that would take. Maybe you'll hear different! If 20 was taken off that means I'm #17!??! I'm confused and sad and happy all at once. 51 spots left in epidemiology though! Who's taking it?
Got a reply... Bittersweet news. I'm down from 31 to 10 on the list, "but as of today, 70 applicants have accepted admissions."
Oh no Peppy! I heard that people are actually just putting down deposits even though they might be unsure still..

A little update for everyone.. I emailed Friday to ask if there had been any movement, and I got a response saying that the cohort was full, they're sorry they can not offer me admission and to try again next fall. Well, good luck to everyone admitted this year, and maybe I'll see some of you next year.

Hi there!
I was accepted to the MECN program for Fall 2016 and I was wondering if there are any current students who would be available to answer some questions about how you like the program either here or in a private message.
Thanks!
