For those of us awaiting NCLEX results...

I took my boards this monday (2/2). Several RN's I know told me that I should have my results by wednesday...seemed a bit quick to me because when I got my LVN, I had to wait 4 1/2 weeks for a "pass" letter.

I noted on the board website that our wonderful Governor had cut hours of the BON, they now do not work every other friday. Also, when I keep checking the board site (because I am stalking the board's website like all others awaiting NCLEX) it is a day behind on it's updating. For example, this morning at 7 am the date finally posted that it was updated yesterday 2/4/09. So, on thursday, it's only technically updated through wednesday.

I'd just like to give that heads up to all those impatiently waiting with me.... Doesn't help decrease the anxiety, or make us check the website any less....

Good luck!

Well..i just checked it again...so this would technically be the third day...2/5 and i passed! I'm an RN!!!!!

Congratulations on passing.

But for others that are reading here, the average wait time in CA is actually ten days. Earliest that we see see people getting results is usually three days and not two. And it can also take up to a month if something is missing from a file.

Congrats! :yeah:

Thank you! I wasn't trying to say average time or anything. Just share my personal experience. I was surprised to get my results so quickly. I must say to turn my paperwork in jan 23rd and have my actual license received in the mail feb 7th is incredibly fast.

I know this is not the norm. I was very lucky.

To all those waiting, GOOD LUCK!
