Is anyone applying for spring 2012 at sac state? do you know what the cut off was for fall? how did you do on your teas V and how long did you spend time studying?

I am planning to apply for spring 2012. I am really scared. I need at least a 90 on the TEAS V but I have less then 2 weeks to study :(

Really? Awesome! I wasn't able to go to an advising session because of classes. Would you mind sharing any other info they talked about?

Have you heard from Sac State about the admission to the university? Nursing website says we have until October 25th to either accept or decline the university admission, but I have not heard anything...

Yeah, you should have heard by the 3rd. Check My Sac State and go to the student center link. You can see the admissions decision by clicking the application status link.

That's where I checked - but all it says under "Admissions" link is: "Not Determined at This Time" but it does say I don't have to take Math or English tests... I'll just wait or email the admissions... Thank you for replying though.

I guess they did say sometime after the 3rd, so maybe they haven't finished notifying everyone. Good luck!

Hey all,

I was just wondering what is the lowest GPA Sac State would accept. Does anyone know?

The bare minimum is 3.3 I believe. They have applicant stats posted on their web site, and the average GPA was 3.8 and average TEAS was 89.8 or somewhere around there. The lowest GPA they took a few semesters ago was 3.5 I think. They do take 80 per semester, which is a lot better than another CSU like Sonoma which takes a measly 20 students.

It was 3.3 pre/coreq GPA.... but with the competitiveness of the program you would pretty much need max optional criteria points and TEAs.

Does anyone know what the point cut off for Spring might be? I have heard they did not have as many applicants as for the Fall, and the point cut off is significantly lower than usual (that's what a friend who attended the last nursing session told me).

I don't know about the cut-off, but I heard there might have been about 250ish applicants for Spring.

Hey, has anyone heard anything from Sac State yet? Really only 250 applicants, that seems awefully low. My hopes just increased for actually having a chance into the program!!! I got into Sac City Sutter program, but am secretly hoping to get a yes from Sac State!! Good luck all.

243 applicants, point cut off is probably be staying the same as for the fall - 58. I went to Sac State orientation today and that is what we were told.
