Is there anyone here that is applying to the San Jose State University nursing program for Fall 2013?!

Oh, wow, you're right; it was $55. That totally got jumbled in my head. Thanks for the correction.

BigCatMeows, I'll be consulting Student Health about the services come Monday, so I'll let you know about the prices sometime after then.

And I really hope you get in, MayraM! Your enthusiasm is so inspiring. You are almost there!

Thank you so much!!!!! I hope I get good news next week so my anxiety will finally go away. I'm not giving up .... I want this really bad and I can taste it ....

i got it on may 1st

Nice :) I keep checking my email throughout the day just in case. Hopefully next week good things will come.

When I go to mysjsu and click selfservice > course catalog , it still says fall 2012 when Im looking up classes and when I google it, I can not find any fall 2013 catalogs. Can anyone assist me in finding the available class times. I'm a transfer with no background knowledge. =]

BigCatMeows - I spoke with Student Health today. A physical exam for the nursing program is about $24/25. The lady wasn't sure, but she believes a titer costs about the same. Couple those with the drug screening test, and the total price is about a hundred dollars.

duhfishermayun408 - An official course catalog is not out yet, though you can view courses by logging into your MySJSU account and clicking "search for classes" on the upper right hand side of the home screen. Bear in mind that the courses listed are liable to change (ie. added or deleted) as it is still early. Still, it's a good reference point for starting a time table.

Fall 2013 class schedules were just posted today! And registration appointments for current SJSU students. (:

Oh ok thank you, so do you do when do we need the physical done by?

I havent recieved the acceptance letter yet because i live kinda far

You turn in the health statement and titer results at the workshop, which is in August, so you've got until then to complete both. They only encourage you to do the latter ASAP, because the boosters can take up to weeks to finish (if you need to do them at all).

There's still a lot of time left, so I wouldn't worry too much about deadlines right now with the exception of the response form + fees.

so sorry if this is a dumb question,,... but what is a titer?

And also, do you know when they need the background check to be in?

It just means you need to get your blood drawn to determine if you test positive for a desired immunity. The acceptance letter explains everything, so no worries.

I reckon the background check needs to be done by the same date your response form and fee are due. This is easy, because all you need to do is make the order online.

Whoa its kinda carzy how we are all talking to each other on these forum, and we will see each other when class starts, but none of us would know who each other are...creepy

Haha I'm Theresa!

Im julia! Did anyone buy the books and ati $198 testing fee yet? :D
