Sharp usually works quickly. We should start receiving phone calls within a couple of weeks with phone interviews scheduled soon after that. That has been the norm, but of course it could be different this time around.

Yes, the formatting is very messed up when uploading your resume onto the form, and nothing you do will fix that (I've tried lol).

What are the telephone interviews like? Pretty extensive or basic? This is my first time applying to Sharps new grad program.

Phone interviews are very basic and quite pleasant. Don't sweat them.

did your resume formatting get messed up when uploading and previewing the document?
yes mine did. I tried uploading word and PDF versions and both got all crunched together.

I'm excited about this program. Looks super competitive but seems like a really great system of hospitals.

Thank you Coriander! This is my first time applying to Sharp. I volunteer at Sharp currently but I don't have my BSN yet:/ I'm hoping my volunteer status helps them want to look at my rsum for more than 3 seconds......

These two were my top choices as well Have you applied for sharp before? I got an interview for Mary Birch L&D last fall, right before I graduated, but they "chose other candidates". I'm hoping my little extras since then will help me this time around... Good luck to you!

I heard the interview for this department can be intense. Can you share what it's like? Type of questions, etc. I'm so anxious. I know it's super competitive and the chances of even getting a call are slim but i still get excited with every app I send out. I applied to L&D at Mary Birch (my dream job) and Grossmont. Good luck!!!
