Samuel Merritt BSN program waiting list

:monkeydance: I got into the waiting list for the BSN Fall 07. Is anybody else in same shoes?

Do you know how many people from the waiting list usually get in?

How many total spaces are in the program?

Did somebody graduate from there?

Any feedback would be appreciated :uhoh3:

Sheesh! I still haven't heard anything from SMU. They e-mailed saying I'm still #1 on the waitlist and that they'll call immediately if a spot becomes available...

She also said they're admitting people off the waitlist until August 31st...but now that it's already July I'm growing more and more nervous.

I check my phone atleast every hour and even check my e-mails frequently as well even though I know they'll call if a spot opens up.

They sent a letter out to all of us still on the waitlist saying that the fall 2009 BSN class is currently FULL, but that they anticipate SOME potential movement on the waitlist over the summer. All I need is ONE spot to open! :(

Words of encouragement would be beyond appreciated...it's just so nerve racking.

Bluechick, I am sorry that you have to go through it. It is definitely not pleasant.

If it's any consolation, I got my acceptance letter at the end of July or beginning of august. DO NOT lose hope. There are 2 more months before school starts :)

Try to relax and occupy yourself with something else. I hate waiting too, but there is absolutely nothing u can do about it. It's out of your control :(

Hey bluechick,

I'm so sorry you haven't heard back from SM! I think it's strange that they haven't called you yet, because I know they received my decision to not attend SM (I received email confirmation a little over a week ago).

Don't lose hope! I'm sure you'll be admitted soon. Good luck!!

Still waiting to hear back from Samuel Merritt...

I still have a little over a month to hear back from them. They accept people up through August 31st, so hopefully someone decides to drop out before then.

Sheesh. What a nightmare. Especially since the CSUs decided to not accept people this spring. My options are really getting slim...:crying2:

Ack! Well, I never did end up hearing back from SMU. I still TECHNICALLY have a week to hear back from them, but of course that's quite unlikely. I'm not sure what happened since I thought for sure I'd get LoveSophie's spot. Very heart-breaking. I sent in a letter requesting to have my application rolled over to spring 2010 admission and it was just absolutely devastating to write!

Still very confused.
