As soon as I sent the earlier post. I received the decline email from PCC. I guess you have to have straight A's to get int there. They said they weigh acceptances on the English and 3 sciences GPA. My stats are below and they declined me.

    Anatomy: A
    Physiology: A
    Microbiology: A
    English: B

I guess one B is one too many.

Sorry to hear that. I didn't get in either, and I have two B's. (English and Micro) I was, however, accepted at LA County-USC. Try applying there. Good luck!

I have applied to LA County/USC but have not heard from them either. When did you get your acceptance letter?

Congrats again. I still haven't heard anything. Did you call to find out your status or did you receive a call from LA county/USC?

If you got a 'B' in English 1A, don't even think about applying to PCC. Two of my friends got all A's but B in English, both got rejected. FYI

Just found out that I got in to the program a couple days ago! I was selected as an alternate a couple months back and thought my chances were slim, but I'm happy that I made it. The orientation is this wednesday and I have to take the Teas V right after the orientation on campus. Does anybody know how fast they give the test results back to you?
    Thanks

FYI I got all B's in science courses and my only A was in english.
So to the people who are applying next term without straight A's in the core classes, don't lose hope!
