I have been rejected to 2-yr Nursing program for 3 times already( lottery system) ! Now I feel so bad and depressed ! I have been thinking about changing my major ! But don't know what major to switch to ? ...And I still love nursing ! I wonder if any one was or has been in this situation like me? 1. You can continue to keep applying with the hope of getting admitted someday, or...
2. You can apply to multiple schools within commuting distance of your home to increase the odds of getting admitted, or...
3. As a last resort, move out of state. There are good schools of nursing all over the Midwest that will admit you on the first try. I realize that not everyone is able to pick up the pieces of life to relocate somewhere new, but this is an option for some people.

Totally agreed! In order to increase your chances, you need to increase your applications to different schools. DOnt give up if your dream is to be a nurse.

My friend finally got into a nursing program after being rejected 3 times:eek:. She just graduated last spring...now she cannot find employment:crying2:.

gurlllll im in the same boat im an lvn trying to get to the rn program it is soooo hard to get in..... u r not the only one it makes two of us
