Northbay Healthcare New Grad Program

U.S.A. California

Published

I saw that NorthBay Health Care in Fairfield had their new grad program up. After a day I saw that it was gone. Has anybody had there status change yet? Please you this forum to share any info you may have on this New Grad Program

thanks newcalnurse. keep you heads up everyone. I applied for a position when I was a fresh new grad and I didn't get a call till 3 days after a friend of mine did. you guys will be next.

@slowrunner: I noticed your experience says >1yr. You have experience ?? Are you currently working? Just curious

Mine still says forwarded to manager, but no call for me yet either...Fingers crossed that it will come for us!

@snuggles33: i do have 18 months of experience. unfortunately not acute care, but I've been able to rise up from a newbie nurse to a supervisor/resource nurse role

i had my interview today and it was interesting. peer interview that lasted 15 minutes! unfortunately, today is the only day for interviews because it's only for 1 position. apparently they had the posting for a limited time, had 30 applicants apply and interviewed the top 15 applicants. very nervous but at the same time, grateful to have had an interview.

hi all, i saw a posting for another New Grad ED position at NB, at their Vacavalley hospital!

Specializes in Oncology.

Did you hear back from them yet, slowrunner?

This is my third time applying to a new grad position with NorthBay. My current application was just forwarded to the manager, so I hope I get an interview! :)

Has anyone heard anything about the Vacavalley ED New Grad program?

nothing yet... i called HR last week and she said that it will take the nurse manager a couple weeks before hearing anything.

Thanks missE, that's good to know. I thought the process might go quick like it did for the Fairfield position!

anyone hear anything?

I haven't heard anything yet either. It's been what? Almost a month?
