The NCLEX PN wait in CA

Hello everyone. The wait in California for LVN/LPN is outrageous.

I graduated LVN: May 21, 2014

Received my letter to test: July 16, 2014

ATT email: July 17, 2014

NCLEX PN: July 23, 2014

As soon as I got home I did the PVT trick and I got the good pop up. Now the wait is on again!!! I was told the average time is about 3 weeks. So I'm hoping that is the case and I won't have to drive myself crazy.

NCLEX PN takers what was your processing time in California?? Is anyone currently waiting like I am now??

Hello everybody...i am waiting for my att date and i am so nervous i could throw up @connielvn2rn how was the overall test?? Any tips? What helped u the most?

I found that the questions were similar to NCLEX PN Exam Cram. I studied most of the questions the week before my test. I like Kaplan NCLEX PN book; which had some good strategies to use if you were unsure of the answer. The test had a lot of priority questions and select all that apply questions.

You know what I used? I used the NCLEX-PN Mastery APP!! Seriously all I used and it's great cause u can study in the go! Used all the quiz's and questions it had and felt prepared when I took my test!

Hey ConnieLVN2RN!! My classmate!! I took my Nclex on 8.26 and freaked out when I got home...did the PVT and it took me to the CC page!! But after some research I realized that the website changed and I need to input my CC info and submit for any kind of message to "pop-up"... So I keep getting the "good pop-up" but still anxious!! Ugggh this is taking forever!! Yesterday made 3 weeks exactly and Im checking the mail like a crazy person!! Geeez!! Hurry UP!!!! lols..

Oh yea.. Also my computer shut off at 110 questions!! Alot of priority ?'s only a few SATA, one drag and drop, and one math question about converting units... fyi...

Hey hey hey ☺️. Congrats to you. Yes I heard that the pop up message was a lil different now. Got a lot of ppl freaking out now. Smh. I got my pass letter in 3 weeks. Hope yours come soon ?.

I just got my license in the mail today (09/17/2014) as well. Finally ?

Yea I hope so too.. I talked to ------------- and she said Jawon got her letter yesterday(9.17 & she passed//Yay!) and she took her exam the same day but at the SF location i think... So hopefully I get mine today or tomorrow. But it seems like our class is doing great on the Nclex!! Im so happy for you!!!! I hope you took some time to celebrate such a big accomplishment!! We made It!! Well you made it soo far.. lol Is it true once we get the letter we can drive to Sac and pay the money and get the license right then and there instead of sending it in and waiting?

Yes we made it. We are all doing good. I'm excited for our classmates. Some of us might be working together soon ☺️. You can drive to Sac and get a temporary license, but it doesn't have your number in it. So to me it wasn't worth it. Your number usually shows up on the boards 3 weeks after sending in your money. And my license came 2 weeks after seeing my name on the boards.

Well today oct 1st my name posted on the board!! Finally after waiting what seemed like FOREVER! Which was roughly 3 1/2 weeks... Now I wait for it to be mailed :D such patience we all learn from this whole process LOL
