Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thanks

If you don't pass, you have to join the next cohort in the class you haven't passed. The quizes are all multiple choice.

interesting! Atleast youll have a second chance if you need it!

Make sure you are doing the Evolve questions that came with your book (accessible via the web). There are usually 1-3 questions straight from there. That can make BIG difference between passing and failing. The added benefit is that you get to practice more NCLEX style questions, and most of the evolve questions provide a rationale, so you can see why the answer is right and why others are wrong.

I have the older edition of the book and did setup the account with evolve. My questions is should i just purchase the book brand new because everything on the website has a fee to it.

No, don't purchase it, if you have access to the questions. The differences are usually very minor. Also, the Health assessment is the only book that required the access code.

Try this:

Log on to the evolve website.

In the SEARCH box on the right type "Health Assessment"

Look for Jarvis, 5th edition.

Check the box under RESOURCES (not courses)

Accept the user agreement

The course should now be available in your resources on the main page.

nevermind! I got some stuff for my fourth edition but it starts from chapter 6 ....and the the 5th edition it making me purchase the access code for $ 59.95 Darn!

How many students made it through health assessment?

we can probably let you know after our first class meeting for our Pharmacology class... :specs:

is there like a week gap between classes?
