is there like a week gap between classes?
No. Our finals were on Saturday, May 2. Pharm starts on the following Monday, May 4. The class is Mon & Wed but Mondays it's online and Wednesdays we have a physical lecture class. So, the first time we will see each other again is Wed, May 6.

oh i c! Now are you guys also required to wear scrubs during lectures? Also, im reading the assessment book and going over powerpoints, how in depth do we have to know the info? I mean chapter 2 (development) has so many things to know. If her powerpoint doesnt list something do we just skip over it even if its in the book?

Hi Angie or anybody else who may know... I'm looking at all the books we need to buy for Health Assessment (I'll be in the July cohort) and I'm a little confused. It looks like we need 2 Physical Examination and Health Assessment--With CD, edition 4 and 5... Angie, did you buy both? They are both checked as required under my schedule. Thanks for any info.

Also, did you buy all 7 books listed there?

    Thanks!

It all depends on your instructor. I would say, just learn the key points of Ch. 2 (development) and be able to identify each. You will go into more detail with that in Peds I think...

Oh i see!Ive been reading the chapters but alot of stuff is skipped from the powerpoint..my guess its not required? It makes the reading a lot faster just knowing what to study! Hopefully, im doing the right thing! Im so worried for class! How hard or in depth are the quizs, midterms, and finals?

Some questions are basic, and others are very specific. For instance, if you don't know the difference btw the symptoms of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis, you will not know how to answer a question regarding it. Hope that makes sense.

    Hi!

Has anyone applied to the program while completing your prerequisites?
I've heard a couple people getting accepted while doing this, while others say everything should be done.

and is there anyone who got in with a GPA of a 3.0 or below? I'm just curious because my GPA isn't that high so it feels impossible to get in anywhere these days

The new requirement is that ALL prereq's must be completed BEFORE you apply. Re: GPA - that depends on HOW below 3.0 it is.... If it's 3.0 - no problem - you should get in, if you get good grades on your anatomy, physio and micro; pass your TEAS, and a proctored essay...
