    The California Board of Registered Nurses no longer recognizes Excelsior. If you registered before December 2003 like I did the board says it is ok we can finish and get the ADN license, but that's it. No more Excelsior in CA. The 30 unit option shouldn't take two years if that's the case get in an RN program it takes two years to complete.

    Well I see that you are a LVN and since Texas does not have a official bay I am assuming you live in CA. You might want to check your BON prior to enrolling in Excelsier.I dont think they will let you sit for the NCLEX, if that is your xchool of choice.

    Is this a nontraditional program? I just visited their website (very impressive), but don't find any sort of nontrad or "online" section, at least not for nursing school.

    Excelsior's big advantage is being able to earn your degree while having a life.
