  1. I have been unable to find what is considered out of my scope of practice in the State of CA for L&D.

    Are RN's allowed in CA to strip a patient's membranes? Are they allowed to AROM a patient?


    Some L&D nurses I work with in CA do both. With and without a Dr's orders. I was not taught that way.
