I was offered a position in an OR and have a scheduled physical exam as well as a background check that needs to be done before being fully hired.Can anyone please tell me, from experience, how long a background check in California hospitals usually take?

Well, the call came in that I was accepted and I called the nursing home and told them that I was offered a better opportunity elsewhere. (maybe only 8 weeks. Seemed like months.
