Hello,

I'm about to start working per diem hopefully at Vibra hospital in San Diego. I couldn't find much written about Vibra.

I know it's LTACH and very different than standard hospital acute care but I'm wondering if people can tell me how it has been for them. I'm hoping for positive comments more than negative comments. Thanks.

Hi I had my critical care clinical there in 2011, and I loved it but most of the other nursing students hated it. I loved it because my RN let me do procedures and run to the vents every time an alarm went off, and I was allowed to try to fix it. She wanted me to do a NG tube but I refused becuase they didn't have x ray to verify placement. I really wanted to do it, too.

I like the people working there and the standards are not Joint Commission and you really have to watch the CNAs & LVNs but the nurses there have heart and that always counts in my book. Good Luck! Paper charting, lucky YOU! haha.

Thanks for sharing. I was wondering as well since I'm considering applying there as a CNA. I want to work as a CNA while in NS and transition into RN upon graduating so I'm looking for places in which to grow.

Hi @zacarias I am looking into Vibra and was wondering how you like it. Do you know if they hire new grads? Thanks!

@b33again why did the other students dislike it?
